In June, my paper, Designing Without Privacy, recently won the Best Paper Award at the 2017 Privacy Law Scholars Conference in Berkeley, California. My work was profiled here. Recognized as the highest academic award in privacy law scholarship, the Best Paper Award is sponsored by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and comes with a chance to speak at IAPP’s annual conference (October 2017) and a cash award. I am now building on this work for my second book, the proposal for which has been submitted to leading publishers.
